These cork decoy kits are patterned after the popular Dead Duck Decoys^® hand-crafted by Michael and Susan Veasey.  Once completed, these hunting decoys also make a perfect decorative addition to any room.   "As is" or completed, these kits make a great gift for anyone with a love of waterfowl and the great outdoors.

Each kit includes a body crafted from light tan, high density cork, a head and keel cut from white pine or white cedar, a set of eyes, and a color list/paint chart.  Assembly is simple and only requires basic tools and supplies.  A standard screwdriver, a sure form rasp, some sand paper and paint brushes are all that are necessary to complete your decoy.  How much time it takes is really up to you.  A "ready to paint" kit can be completed in as little as three or four hours, depending on your artistic skills and the level of detail you desire.  Paints are not included, but can be purchased at most craft or hobby stores.   A great source for paint developed specifically for decoys and duck boats is Parker Coatings, Inc. where you can buy individual colors or pre-packaged paint kits for a particular species.  Click on any kit above for a complete description.
